about me

Hi! I’m Jamie Wendt - an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (#148932) based in Los Angeles, CA.

Before I’m a therapist, I’m a person—someone who loves sweet drinks, spending time in nature, and being with my dogs. I try to embrace the little moments that bring joy and connection. I also love getting into a new project—whether it’s learning something new or diving into a creative idea, I enjoy the excitement of building something from the ground up.

I believe that the best therapy happens when there’s a real, human connection. I bring warmth, authenticity, and a little humor into the therapy space because healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy. My goal is to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted for exactly who you are—where you can show up without judgment and explore whatever’s on your mind.

At my core, I value authenticity, self-compassion, and respect. I know that reaching out for support isn’t always easy, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Therapy with me is a collaborative process, whether we’re working through anxiety, big life changes, relationships, or self-esteem. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, build on your strengths, and find ways to create a life that feels meaningful and fulfilling to you.

If this sounds like what you’re looking for, I’d love to connect. Let’s find a time to chat—I’m here when you’re ready.
